Join our Service Support team in Broome where you lead a team of Service Support Officers. You will support team members to ensure clients can access our services in ways that are person centred, safe, responsive and convenient.  You and your team will be the first point of contact for many clients and will help refer them to appropriate services within Anglicare WA where appropriate. You will be responsible for ensuring data quality and compliance and driving a culture of continuous improvement as well as ensuring the smooth running of the office. You will work alongside passionate and dedicated professionals in a client centred environment where you can make an impact.

This is a full time (37hrs per week) permanent position, based in Broome.

What you will bring

You are a passionate and talented individual who wants to be part of a team who delivers quality services to our clients. To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role or Cert IV qualification in community services
  • Ability to lead and grow teams
  • Exceptional communication skills with an ability to relate to a wide range of clients in need of assistance
  • Ability to respond to clients in distress, and be comfortable deescalating people who are upset
  • Well-developed computer skills (MS Word, MS Outlook, client management system)
  • Financial management skills including ability to issue invoices and receipt money

The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year and WA Working with Children Check.

  • A competitive salary from $94,200 per annum (inclusive of remote localities allowance) + 11.5% superannuation 
  • Salary packaging of up to $15,900 (which equates to circa $4K after tax) plus additional salary packaging of up to $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses 
  • Additional 1 weeks leave after 12 months service
  • Electricity allowance and housing subsidy (T & C’s apply)
