We are looking for 2 disability support workers to provide exceptional care to clients in the Albany region. Our clients require support across all areas of daily living from shopping, supporting to find and maintain employment, cooking and personal care. The support will also include helping our clients to access their local community, participate in recreational activities and develop their independent living skills to promote choice, inclusion and independency.
This is a casual position, with approximately 20 hours available per week.
What you will bring
You will have a good understanding of person-centered practice and are passionate about supporting people with a disability.
To be successful you will have:
- A certificate III in Community Services (Disabilities) and/or equivalent experience
- Ability to physically care for high needs individuals
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Demonstrated a contemporary understanding and attitude towards working with people with a disability
- Ability and willingness to use own electronic devices (such as smart phone) for work purposes
- Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends
The successful candidate must have full working rights within Australia, possess a current NDIS Worker Screen (or willing to obtain), a current National Police Clearance, a WA Working with Children Check, Provide First Aid Certificate and a WA Driver's Licence.

$41.76 per hour (includes casual loading) + 11.5% Superannuation
