As the Service Support Officer, you will ensure clients access our services in ways that are person centred, safe, responsive and convenient. You will be the first point of contact for many clients and will help refer them to appropriate services within Anglicare WA. You will also provide support to ensure the smooth running of the office providing administrative support, accurately entering data and maintaining electronic client files.

This is a full-time (37.5 hours per week) permanent position based in Broome.

About you

You are a passionate and talented individual who wants to be part of a team who delivers quality services to our clients. To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role or Cert IV qualification in community services
  • Exceptional communication skills with an ability to relate to a wide range of clients in need of assistance
  • Ability to respond to clients in distress, and be comfortable deescalating people who are upset
  • Demonstrated ability to identify client needs, assess risk and prioritise accordingly
  • Financial management skills including ability to issue invoices and receipt money
  • Good level of IT skills

The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year and WA Working with Children Check.

  • From $77,215 per annum (inc 10% regional allowance) + 11.5% superannuation
  • Location allowance of $250/week (on application)
