About you
You will bring your empathetic nature alongside experience in delivering person centred, trauma informed services that are culturally appropriate.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Hold tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology or related discipline, or diploma level qualification with relevant experience, or sufficient relevant experience
- Be able to engage and build strong relationships with clients who have been impacted by family and domestic violence
- Have a developed understanding of the dynamics of family and domestic violence
- Be able to work in a team and independently across the local region on regular outreach
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate conflict resolution, advocacy and negotiation skills
The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Working with Children Check and a WA Driver's Licence.
