About the role

The Philanthropy team at Anglicare WA is an exciting and fast paced environment.  This team focuses on generating vital funds to assist the organisation to provide critical services each year to support over 100,000 Western Australians.  

As the Community Fundraising & Events Coordinator, you will lead the development of a vibrant and scalable community fundraising program, while also coordinating a portfolio of strategic fundraising events that support acquisition stewardship and revenue growth. This includes leading the operational delivery of Anglicare WA’s flagship MEH Gala as a key driver of fundraising revenue and supporter engagement. 

This is part time (30 hours per week) opportunity on an ongoing basis. The occasional weekend and evening work will be required.

What you will bring

You are a proactive, innovative and collaborative individual, with a genuine love of communicating with people and a drive to deliver high quality events.

You will have:

  • Experience in community fundraising, peer-to-peer fundraising, events or supporter engagement
  • Sound knowledge of fundraising standards, principles and procedures
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills 
  • A collaborative and positive approach to teamwork
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

The successful candidate must also possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year and a WA Drivers Licence. Copies of these must be provided before commencement.

A police record is not an automatic barrier to employment with us. The organisation may seek to request an international police clearance if necessary.   • A competitive salary from $99,469 per annum (pro rata) + 12% superannuation
  • Salary packaging of up to $15,900 (which equates to circa $4K after tax) plus additional salary packaging of up to $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses 
  • Additional 3 days leave per year over festive period
