Anglicare WA in partnership with Doors Wide Open and Breakaway Aboriginal Corporation, delivers the Housing First Support Services (HFSS), aimed at ending repeat and chronic homelessness for rough sleepers in the Greater Bunbury area. In this role, you will lead proactive outreach, deliver high-quality, trauma-informed case management, and support clients to secure and sustain housing while accessing broader supports. In addition, you'll guide and mentor frontline a team of Case Managers and Peer Workers, providing expert advice and fostering a safe, inclusive, and trauma-informed team culture.

This is a full time (1.0 FTE) maximum term position until 30 June 2027 and is based in Bunbury.

Desired Skills and Experience

What you will bring

To be successful in the is role you will have:

  • Tertiary degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, Counselling and/or significant relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with marginalised and disadvantaged groups
  • Demonstrated case management skills and ability to assess, inform, advise, support and refer clients
  • Demonstrated understanding of the issues affecting people experiencing rough sleeping 
  • Demonstrated skills in following safety procedures and dynamic risk assessments

The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Driver's Licence and a WA Working with Children Check.

A police record is not an automatic barrier to employment with us. The organisation may seek to request an international police clearance if necessary.   • Starting salary $104,188.50 per annum pro rata plus 12% superannuation
  • Enjoy generous tax-free salary packaging benefits where you can package up to $15,900 per annum and not pay tax on that amount.
  • Additional 3 days (pro-rata) leave per year and ability to purchase additional leave
