Join our Brand and Communications team where you will contribute to the development of engaging video content to broaden our reach, with a particular focus on TikTok, but may include other social media platforms. The videos will aim to promote community action aligned with the organisation’s advocacy priorities, particularly: creating economic justice and fairness and ensuring everyone has a home. You will contribute to the development of a posting schedule, identify opportunities and current trends and support the development of content ideas.

Desired Skills and Experience

What you will bring

  • Experience creating high quality written, visual and video content for TikTok and/or other social media platforms
  • Understanding of communication platforms and tools used to engage community and influence social change
  • An interest in communicating with diverse audiences on social issues
  • Confidence in working in front and behind the camera 
  • Knowledge of effective strategies to segment audiences, and design content suited for different audiences. 

The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year and WA Drivers Licence.

Also:-

  • Salary starting from $72,829 pro rata + 11.5% superannuation 
  • Salary packaging of up to $15,900 (which equates to circa $4K after tax) plus additional salary packaging of up to $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses 
  • Additional 3 days leave per year over festive period
